Ameriberry.

Summer days in the midwest are not complete without a visit to the strawberry fields.  We were so excited to visit Thompson’s Strawberry Farm in Wisconsin to capture the Ameriberry collaboration between some delightfully talented shops and celebrate summer!

The girls had so much fun wandering the fields and looking for berries.  Fun fact….the strawberries weren’t even ready yet!  We had to hide some store-bought berries randomly around the field so the girls would have something to look for and keep them entertained.  There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes when photographing the little ones in order to keep the engagement going.  Sometimes it’s easy and you can just follow them around with a camera and capture the joy!  Other times, it takes a lot of work to get those smiles and giggles.

Either way, the girls always have fun getting dressed up and playing with their friends.

One of my favorite things about doing these collaborative shoots is how shops can come together who all have very distinct styles and create outfits that are just perfection.  The vintage flair that was present in these outfits creates nostalgia for sweet summer days.

And sometimes, when you’re a toddler, you just don’t want to wear your clothes anymore and your parents give you an impromptu strawberry picnic.  Which turns out just as darn cute.
